In an effort to continue providing the best neurosurgical care in Lancaster County and South Central PA, Argires Marotti Neurosurgical Associates of Lancaster has temporarily changed locations. Formerly Brain Orthopedic Spine Specialists, their offices of neurology and neurosurgery are now located at 233 College Ave., and their pain management department has moved to 90 Good Dr.

Dr. Argires and Dr. Marotti welcome patients who present with brain or spine injuries or back pain in their new offices. They work alongside neurologist Dr. Jared John, also formerly of Brain Orthopedic Spine Specialists. In addition, Argires Marotti offers the care of pain management specialists Laleh S. Radfar-Baublitz, DO and Jennie-Corinne R. Baublitz-Brenenborg, DO.

Their mission is to provide the best neurosurgical care in Lancaster and surrounding areas. According to the Practice Administrator, Shawn Erik Taylor, “We believe that patients should not have to suffer in silence or live in pain, and their personalized approach to treatment ensures that every patient will feel like family.”

Dr. Perry Argires MD, FAANS, FACS, practices general neurosurgery, with an emphasis in treating spinal disorders. He is a leading expert in disc replacement surgery. He also utilizes minimally invasive techniques to treat common problems such as herniated discs and spinal stenosis. Dr. Argires also has extensive experience in spinal fusion surgeries, resection of spinal tumors, spinal cord stimulation and reconstruction for deformity. In his practice, he also treats brain tumors and performs Stereotactic Biopsy and Carotid Endarterectomy. He is a graduate of The University of Alabama School of Medicine. He did his Neurosurgery residency at the University of Alabama, and served as Chief Resident in his final year. He is Board Certified in Neurological Surgery, and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, a member of The American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the Pennsylvania State Society of Neurosurgeons.

Dr. Louis A. Marotti, MD, PhD, FACS, FAANS is a neurosurgeon specializing in the treatment of Adult Degenerative Spinal Disease, spinal instability, adult spine deformity, spinal fractures, neurostimulation for chronic pain, and tumors of the brain and spine. Dr. Marotti received his MD degree from the Yale University School of Medicine and PhD in Neuroscience from Yale University Graduate School. He completed fellowship training in spine surgery at New En-gland Baptist Hospital, formerly part of the Harvard Healthcare System, in Bos-ton, MA. He is a member of the Ameri-can Board of Neurological Surgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Neurosurgical Society, and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Marotti is Board Certified in Neurological Surgery. He currently serves as the Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery at Lancaster Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Jarod B. John, MD specializes in Neurology and the treatment of multiple neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, movement disorder, seizure disorder, headache disorder, concussion, neuromuscular disease, neuropathy, dementia, stroke, EMG, EEG, and Botox administration. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University – Baptist Medical Center, and the Temple University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Neurology, Pennsylvania Medical Society and a member of the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is Board Certified.

Dr. Laleh S. Radfar-Baublitz, DO, FAAPMR, is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Pain Management. Her expertise includes the non-operative treatment of acute and chronic painful spinal conditions utilizing specialized image-guided injections. Dr. Radfar-Baublitz also has special interests in the female athlete and performing arts medicine. Before coming to Lancaster, Dr. Radfar-Baublitz completed an interventional spine/pain management fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. She was named Chief Resident during her final year of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Sinai Hospital/University of Maryland. She received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and her B.S. in Biology from Allegheny College. She is a member of North American Spine Society and International Spine Intervention Society. Dr. Radfar-Baublitz has collaborated on several nationally recognized research studies and received several awards for her outstanding commitment to patient care.

Dr. Jennie-Corinne R. Baublitz-Brenenborg, D.O., FAAPMR., specializes in Interventional Pain Management and Physical Medicine Rehabilitation. She has expertise in diagnosing and treating painful spinal conditions with minimally invasive procedures. She has a special interest in emerging regenerative medicine therapies for chronic back pain. Dr. Baub-litz-Brenenborg graduated from Franklin & Marshall College, with major in Biology, and graduated from medical school in 2001 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a graduate of Temple University Hospital’s Physical Medicine Rehabilitation Residency, as well as a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University’s prestigious Pain Management Fellowship. Dr. Baublitz-Brenenborg is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as Pain Management and is a member of the North American Spine Society, Spinal Intervention Society, as well as the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
