Crafters, florists, wedding planners, and aspiring creatives—Look no further. Having celebrated their their second anniversary in October, Flower and Home Marketplace has an extraordinary selection of supplies for your decorating needs. FLL magazine had the opportunity to tour various departments of the building with Ken Mull (owner) and Dan Fineberg (general manager).
It’s no secret what season it is upon walking through the door—gorgeous decorations flood the first room across neatly organized tables. The floral department is, by far, the most popular. As the largest department in the building (and holding one of the largest selections east of Mississippi), it carries varied selections of silk and fresh flowers. Whether working on a small arrangement for a gift or planning to decorate an entire house, you can be confident to find exactly what you require for any style of room or event. Every designer in the design center yields much experience within the field. You’ll find anything from vases, glassware, silk flowers, succulents, twigs, trees, and topiaries for any project heading your way.
The home accents department holds the trophy for most diverse selection in the building, with an enormous selection of indoor and outdoor home accents from artwork to centerpieces. The craft department is unique in that it follows a different direction than other local craft stores. Scrapbookers and even those following the new adult coloring book trend will find unique ways in which to express themselves. The boutique has grown quickly with an array of scarves, purses, skincare products, and accessories. They also offer a range of candles and even gourmet treats. Their new café and gourmet department has a selection of locally-made items, both savory and sweet.
Operating in the former location of the Flower and Craft Warehouse, customers travel from hours away just to experience the brand new collection within. There is something for everyone between the varied selection and exceptional price points to satisfy any creative individual. Flower and Home Marketplace also offers classes which can be viewed on their website calendar.
