Lancaster Osteopathic Health Foundation (LOHF) is a healthfocused resource created to strengthen the mental wellbeing of children in Lancaster County. By focusing on two intersecting goals strengthening the capacity of the healthcare community and improving children’s behavioral health LOHF provides critical access to financial and educational resources within the community.
LOHF is proud to announce that scholarship applications are now being accepted for 2016 Nursing Scholarship. LOHF scholars continue to make a difference in the community every day. Since 2003, LOHF has invested nearly $700,000 in the education of 193 nurses. In 2015, LOHF invested $60,000 in the education of nursing students centered at medical facilities from across the community.
“We are thrilled to be able to assist health care providers in Lancaster County with the access to critical financial and education resources through grants, scholarships, and information and trainings. Our Nurse Education Scholarship Program enables us to support exceptional individuals who are beginning their education as well as those who are seeking advanced degrees,” explains Anna Brendle Kennedy, LOHF Executive Director.
