Penn Cinema is pleased to announce plans to open their third and fourth locations. With one location in Lancaster County, PA and one location in Wilmington, DE, they will open their third multiplex this fall in Huntingdon Valley, PA at “The Marketplace at Huntingdon Valley” and they are in planning stages for their fourth to be in Abington, PA. Both sites are in centers owned by New Century Associates.

The new 7-screen theater in Huntingdon Valley (2010 County Line Road) will open in November of this year. The new theater will feature all luxury Irwin power-recliners, state of the art Christie digital projection, killer sound systems and a concession stand featuring a wood-fired pizza oven among other amenities. Penn Cinema will have reserved seats available for purchase online or in person so customers can reserve their seats ahead of time and never worry about getting the best seats in the house.

“We are a family owned, independent company. We provide an experience for our customers that is absolutely world class. We employ only the best staff and are passionate about providing a clean and safe environment in which an audience can really get lost in movie magic. When you turn off of County Line Road and walk into Penn Cinema, we want you to know that you are walking into one of the nicest theaters in the world.” -Penn Ketchum, Managing Partner

“Penn Cinema is committed to the community movie theater and is constantly moving that experience forward,” says Brian Regli, Managing Partner of New Century Associates, which serves as property owner, architect and general contractor for the new Penn Cinema.  “Our goal has always been to design a more intimate, family oriented space, one that is easily accessible and offers unparalleled comfort for visitors to our center and we have found a perfectly like-minded partner in Penn Cinema.” -Brian Regli, Managing Partner

“I love that the center is family owned and operated. It is very consistent with our company’s approach to business which is customer and community oriented. We have shown in both Lititz and Wilmington that we are very committed to the communities where we do business.” -Ketchum

“With regards to our 4th location, we are pleased to be working with New Century Associates on a site in Abington, PA. We are pretty focused on getting Huntingdon Valley up and running but I’d like to see Abington follow right behind in 2019. The current plans that we have would be for a 7-plex there as well.” -Ketchum
