A New Era for Hamilton Watch

The Hamilton Watch Company, founded in Lancaster in 1892, was originally located on Columbia Avenue (now The Clock Towers condos, The New School of Lancaster, and more). This original space was used as both a factory and Hamilton’s headquarters until 1980, when the brand was renamed Hamilton Technology and moved downtown. Though the majority of parts manufacturing was moved to Sweden in 1969, assembly continued at the Columbia Avenue location until 1992.

This past July, we excitedly saw the return of Hamilton Watch to downtown Lancaster in the location of the former Bowman Watchmaking School (149 N. Duke Street), thanks to the vision of Ryan Miller, owner of Brent Miller Jewelers.

This new location is a fantastic combination of retail store and history on display, with both the current Hamilton line of watches available for sale, as well as a grand selection of timepieces from Hamilton’s deep and prolific history.

To celebrate their momentous news, we are featuring a few of the newest Hamilton watches, modeled by a group of professionals for whom being on time is critical to their business success — Realtors!

These stunning timepieces are just a small example of the wide variety available at the Hamilton Watch Boutique on N. Duke Street in Lancaster City. Stop by to find the perfect one for your wrist.
