Millwood Custom Homes began about a decade ago with one husband and wife, and a big dream. Jeff and Patti Nadu started their business with a straightforward idea: to build high-quality homes for families at affordable prices. They’re preserved that focus throughout the years, even as they’ve grown. “We aren't some huge corporation with dozens of project and site managers. We're a small, by-design builder, meaning that we focus on a smaller number of houses a year. This allows us to get to know our customers personally and help them build their dream home,” the Nadus explain.
The success of Millwood Custom Homes has much to do with the family’s integrity in upholding their company values. Their commitment is to quality above all else, and they work together as a team to make sure that no corners are cut. Jeff oversees all aspects of building and design and now has more than 35 years of hands-on building experience. Patti, a licensed realtor, works closely with buyers on custom features and selections of their new home, as well as marketing and staging of homes. About two years ago, Jeff and Patti’s son Quinn Nadu joined the company as a project manager, handling the technological side of the business. His expertise has brought so much talent and knowledge to the company, taking Millwood to another level.
“We love having the family concept,” Patti says. “Each one of us brings something completely different to the business. We recognize the strengths that each one of us bring to Millwood and always support one another.”
With all of the information being relayed in the building process, they value communication, between each other as a team and their clients. Millwood Custom Homes prides themselves on working closely with buyers from start to finish and developing a relationship with them, as well as visiting the building site every day to make sure all of their wishes are implemented. Their top notch warranty program ensures buyers that they’re not left behind after they’ve moved in either.
The company’s latest project is Bennett Run in York, a residential living area with homes from ranging from easy first floor settings to modern, stylish two-story homes. Their family’s belief is that if they’re not growing, they’re dying, so they are consistently focused on Millwood’s growth, working hard, and building more homes each year.
The Nadu family finds their inspiration for their homes by working closely together and staying on top of market trends and fresh designs, while still focusing on quality materials and functionality. “Our main philosophy with Millwood has always been that we would never build a home that we wouldn't personally live in,” Patti says, explaining their personal commitment to clients. It’s clear that from custom residential homes on private lots to new home communities, they offer their full support throughout the entire process.
