Who is Mabel? Hi! I’m Mabel, a career fulfillment coach. I help people get out of their boring day jobs and find meaningful careers that let them live a fulfilling life they're proud of… without getting burnt-out along the way!
I’m originally from the UK, I’m a self-development NERD, and I’m obsessed with anything happy and healthy-living related. I’m a big supporter of being who you really are (oddities and quirkiness included!), so if there’s something to do with personal expression, I’m probably interested! Fashion is another hobby of mine (the more colorful and fun the better), as well as cooking, comedy, performance, and the arts.
I live on the West Side of Lancaster, about a 10 minutes drive from downtown, and I love the balance of being surrounded by space and nature, as well as being close enough to the city to “pop” downtown anytime!
What can you expect if you follow Mabel? My content is all about helping people create a super fulfilling and empowered career that is true to who they really are. I talk a lot about how to change careers—the confidence and mindset tips you need to make the change actually happen, and how to feel less stressed and more connected to yourself along the way. I love to talk about how life isn’t perfect and is full of unexpected challenges and mess-ups along the way… and that’s okay!
What’s the most exciting opportunity Mabel has had thanks to social media? I’ve always believed that social media can be overwhelming, but if you approach it with a positive attitude and the right boundaries, it can be full of opportunities! Social media has allowed me to work with and learn from clients all over the world (from Kazakhstan to the Netherlands, Canada to Iraq). It’s given me the opportunity to be featured on podcasts, but honestly, I think the most exciting thing (though it might sound normal to some) is the genuine friendships I’ve made through it. Before I moved to Lancaster, I met one of my best friends through Instagram, and our friendship really has blossomed ever since!
What is Mabel’s favorite place in Lancaster? Oooh, that’s a tough question! If I had to pick, I think it might be Nord, the Scandinavian Food & Hygge stall at Central Market. Immy and Jason, who run the stall, are so lovely, and their Scandinavian hot dogs are amazing!
